Part 2 of a two-lecture series: Much of the Western gardening tradition starts here, 900 years before the black plague, and owes its aesthetics to Ancient Persia. Throw aside all of your preconceived notions of the dark ages and explore a period of time that is steeped in eroticism, sensuality and strict religious dogma, all of which influenced the European agricultural economies.
