Night Hikes on the Farm – Frog Calls and Bug Watch

A series of bi-monthly events that offer educational and recreational opportunities for visitors to venture the farm in the nighttime and explore fascinating natural science topics.
The hikes will take place the last Friday of every other month. These events are open to the public and will particularly appeal to scout groups, families, and anyone with a thirst for knowledge and adventure.

Each hike will incorporate different themes fitting to the month or season.
Advance registration will be required
$10 each session
Light snacks and beverages provided
Below is the tentative 2019 schedule.

April 26th @ 8:00 p.m. – Frog Calls and Bug Watch
June 28th @ 8:00 p.m. – Nightlife and Wilderness Skills
August 30th @ 8:00 p.m. – Batty about Bats
October 25th @ 6:00 p.m. – Owl Prowl and Folklore
December 28th @ 6:00 p.m. – Constellations of the Night Sky
